These terms govern your use of this website — the Detix Services company site. By browsing it or sending us a message through it, you accept them.

They cover the site and nothing else. They do not license any software, and they are not the agreement under which we would deliver services to you — that is a written engagement agreement, described below.

Use this site lawfully, and leave it working for everyone else. Do not attempt to gain unauthorised access to it or to the systems behind it, probe it in ways that degrade it for others, or request it at a volume that affects its availability.

Do not misrepresent who you are when you write to us, and do not use the contact form for unsolicited advertising or anything unlawful, deceptive, or abusive.

The text, design, code, and graphics on this site belong to Detix Group or its licensors. Read it, quote it, and link to it as you would any other site. Do not copy it wholesale, present it as your own work, or reuse it inside a product.

The Detix name and marks belong to Detix Group. Do not use them in a domain name, product name, or logo, or in any way that implies partnership, endorsement, or affiliation, without written permission. Naming us in an article, comparison, or list is fine.

Everything here is general information. We keep it as accurate as we can, but descriptions of our services and of how engagements run describe our current practice, not a commitment — every engagement is scoped in its own agreement. Results described in a case study are specific to that engagement, not a promise of the same outcome for yours.

The site is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows. We do not promise it will be error-free or fit for a particular purpose.

This site links to places we do not control. We are not responsible for their content or their practices, and a link is not an endorsement. Once you follow one, that site's terms and privacy policy apply, not ours.

Our services — assessments, quality engineering, and advisory work — are delivered under a written engagement agreement covering scope, fees and invoicing, confidentiality, ownership of deliverables, and liability. Nothing on this site adds to or changes what such an agreement says.

Where such an agreement exists, it prevails over these terms for that engagement. These terms remain in force for your use of this website. Products under the Detix name are Detix Group's, offered on its own site under their own terms.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Detix Group is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss, or for lost profits, revenue, or data, arising from your use of this site or from anything you rely on here.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

We may change, move, or remove any part of this site at any time, and we may take it offline for maintenance without notice. We do not promise continuous availability.

These terms are governed by the law of the jurisdiction in which Detix Group is established, and any dispute about them belongs to the courts of that jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, this does not remove any protection you have under the law of the country where you live.

We may update these terms as the site changes. When we do, we will revise the effective date above, and for a material change we will say so more prominently. Continuing to use the site after a change takes effect means you accept it.
